Kristeena Thompson is PRIA’s resident Reimbursement Specialist and assists clients with billing and coding questions, analyzes denied claims, reviews policy coverage, and strategizes reimbursement scopes of work for new and innovative therapies.  One of PRIA’s most tenured team members, Kristeena is an industry veteran with expertise in billing and coding, in and outpatient care, case management, and SNF account management.  Certified in Medical Terminology and as a Medical Administrative Assistant, Kristeena’s thirst for medical knowledge is never quenched, as she is currently pursuing a CPC program to stay at the top of her medical reimbursement and coding game-a game that frequently changes rules.

A pillar in the success of PRIA’s client’s therapeutic programs, Kristeena is passionate about the PRIA mission and loves “Being the good guys and making a positive impact on our patient’s lives.”  Kristeena’s dedication and patient access prowess has changed the quality of lives of thousands of patients, and she has no plan of pumping the brakes any time soon unless she is touring off-road in her all-terrain capable Jeep.  When Kristeena is not helping to overturn negative coverage decisions for patients in need of innovative therapy, you can find her paddleboarding and traveling to beach destinations-especially Cape Cod.
