Raquel’s full bio:
Born and raised in Watertown, CT, Raquel DosSantos embarked on her professional journey at the age of 16, quickly advancing to a supervisory role upon graduating high school. At 19, while balancing full-time work and full-time college studies, she also became a devoted dog mom. This demanding schedule at a young age instilled in her a deep sense of responsibility.
At 21, Raquel made a significant life change by moving to Florida to pursue a career in Human Resources. During her tenure in HR, she was unexpectedly offered the position of Store Director at Sephora, an opportunity she eagerly embraced. This role allowed her to develop skills in managing diverse personalities, prioritizing tasks under pressure, and motivating teams to achieve their goals. She found great satisfaction in hiring, training, leading teams, and providing feedback to foster growth and development. However, the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic led her to seek new opportunities.
In 2022, Raquel and her husband decided to return to Connecticut to be closer to family. It was during this time that she discovered PRIA Healthcare. Despite having little experience in the medical device industry, Raquel found a new passion in advocating for patients. Starting as a Program Lead and progressing to an Account Manager, she gained a profound appreciation for the critical roles each individual plays at PRIA. She is proud to be part of such a dedicated team and looks forward to contributing to PRIA’s future growth and success.
